		<description>I'll point out that the Cubs have been a wholly owned subsidiary of the (Chicago) Tribune Corporation for many years now.  The chief complaint against the arrangement is not that there's any corruption per se, but that the Tribune runs the team like a busuiness, and thus is less willing than an irrational vanity owner to spend large sums of money to sign free agents after the All Star Break.</description>
