Jonathan Richman tribute show this Friday
This Friday (Mar. 10) there’s a Jonathan Richman tribute show at PA’s Lounge in Somerville. Many local bands that sound interesting are playing, including RealFake pal Doug’s band The Hyphens. Also happy to see the Double Stops on the bill: I was very enthusiastic about them when I saw them play after the Doug and Dave acoustic set at the Kirkland last August. Proceeds support the Somerville Arts Council, and tickets are only $8, which is less than a dollar per band. Highly economical.

Aren’t you nice! But what if the extra publicity causes it to sell out early?
It should be a fun night. I’ve been wanting to see B for Brontosaurus for months.

I’m not nice, I’m really excited about the show! And as you know, I am worried that the it will sell out, but I figured that I plan on showing up early anyhow, so damn the torpedoes! I can’t keep my public in the dark.
